The court recovered 21 billion rubles from the ex-leaders of the bank "Transport"
On October 4, 2024, the Savelovsky District Court of Moscow satisfied the civil claim of the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) against the former heads of the Transport Bank. Among the defendants are ex-chairman of the board Elena Pletneva, her deputy Lilia Malyutina and three bank employees - Alexander Sentyakov, Oksana Avdyukova and Irina Makarova. Former co-owner of the bank arrested in absentia
On April 10, 2024, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested in absentia the former beneficiary of the burst Transport Bank, Alexander Mazanov. He is accused of embezzling almost 22 billion rubles. Read more here.
2015: License Revocation
In May 2015, the Central Bank of Russia decided to revoke the license from the Moscow bank "Transport," which occupies 103rd place in the Russian Federation in terms of assets. The decision to revoke the license was made in connection with the high-risk policy of the bank and the complete loss of its own funds. The Central Bank also notes that Transport during 2014 was seen in dubious transit operations on a large scale.

From six and a half to eight years in prison, seven defendants in a criminal case on embezzlement of more than 21.8 billion rubles. from the bankrupt bank "Transport." The court sentenced former president Elena Pletneva to the maximum term. The court also recognized her as one of the organizers of a criminal group created specifically to steal bank money.
