Transwiring

By JSC Transelektromontazh, earlier, till 1992, All-Union mounting trust on electrification of the railroads Transelektromontazh, is organized according to the order of Ministry of Railways of January 6, 1953 No. 7/TsZ in pursuance of the Resolution of Council of Ministers of the USSR of August 27, 1952 No. 3890.

Since April 1, 1992 the Transelektromontazh trust is registered as public joint stock company.

JSC Transelektromontazh performs works on the Moscow, Northern, Krasnoyarsk, West Siberian, Transbaikal, Far East, Sverdlovsk, Kuibyshev, Southern Ural, North Caucasian, Southern Caucasian, Volga, East Siberian, Southeast, October, Gorky and Kaliningrad railroads.

Priority activities are:

Construction, reconstruction and major repair of objects of electrification and power supply, including:

• contact network; remote control of disconnectors of contact network, longitudinal VL and wires of lines of automatic lock-out;
• traction substations;
• transformer substations: the closed and built in up to 10 kV; complete; mast;
• other technical buildings and constructions of power economy: sectioning posts, points of parallel coupling and other constructions;
• lines of power supply: air and cable; VL of 6-10 kV, VL-35 of kV; low-voltage air and cable, including lines of illumination of separate points.
