2023: Production of power supplies for LED lighting for 300 million rubles

In March 2023, Trion launched the first production of digital power supplies for LED lighting in Russia, developed using domestic digital and analog microcircuits. Previously, the company produced its products in China. The total investment in the implementation of the project will amount to about 300 million rubles.

In October 2023, the company launched a pilot site to develop new power sources, which was another stage in the modernization of production. There will be produced elements of the lighting control system, emergency power supplies and LED modules. The entire project in the Sergiev Posad urban district will be implemented within five years, said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

The launch of the experimental site will allow the enterprise not only to develop samples, but also to quickly produce experimental batches, including small-scale ones. In the near future, Trion plans to equip the site with a technological stand for functional control of manufactured products and stands for testing the technological run of products, the Moscow Region government said on October 23, 2023.

By this time, Trion is developing and producing modules and power supplies in the Moscow region for LED lamps, which are used, among other things, in offices, lighting schools, hospitals, as well as industrial and infrastructure facilities that require increased reliability. Tatyana Trishina, managing partner of Trion, said that the products offered by the company are not inferior in quality to similar products of foreign manufacturers and are able to fully replace them in the domestic market.[1]

2022: Investment of 100 million rubles in the launch of a new plant

The manufacturer of components for lighting engineering "Trion" has invested 100 million rubles in the launch of a new plant. The company announced this on October 10, 2022.

We are talking about investments in the production line in Sergiev Posad. It is planned to produce 100-120 thousand units of power sources and 500 thousand light modules per month, and the production area of the premises by the end of 2022 will be 1.2 thousand square meters. m, and by 2023 - up to 1.6 thousand square meters. m

Trion drivers support the DALI protocol. Chips for the devices will be supplied by high-tech enterprises - the Russian Angstrom and the Belarusian Integral.

As noted in the company, in connection with the increasing sanctions pressure from the countries of the European Union, reductions in the supply of digital LED drivers from European suppliers continue, while components for these devices also fall under restrictions.

In order to mitigate the growing shortage of this equipment, Trion launched a production line to create digital LED drivers based on domestic technologies that completely exclude the use of foreign components. Previously empty workshops belonging to the Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant were rented for it.

Trion's strategic plans include the development and production in Russia of a significant range of power supplies for LED lamps of a wide range of applications - from the simplest power supplies for administrative and office lighting to high-reliability products used to illuminate special and infrastructure facilities in extreme "Arctic" operating conditions.

As Kommersant writes with reference to the data of the SPARK-Interfax system, Trion LLC was registered in 2018, the authorized capital of the company is 10 million rubles. By October 10, 2022, the company is owned by Evgeny Volkov (51%) and Tatyana Trishina (41%).[2]
