2024: Opening of the educational and research laboratory "BASEALT"
The educational and research laboratory for products "BASEALT" began work at the Ural Technical Institute of Communications and Informatics (UrTISI SibGUTI) on the basis of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies. This was announced by "BASEALT" on November 27, 2024.
Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Sverdlovsk Region Mikhail Ponomarkov attended the opening ceremony.
In the laboratory, students will learn to create a comprehensive IT infrastructure based on Russian solutions, acquire skills in network and system administration of domestic operating systems, and will also be able to join scientific and applied research in the field of free software.
The laboratory staff graduated from the authorized courses "BASEALT" and are certified teachers in working with the operating systems "Alt."
