Construction of a plant for the production of radio electronics for law enforcement agencies

In October 2024, it became known about the completion in the Udmurt Republic of the construction of a plant for the production of radio electronics for the needs of law enforcement agencies. This is the project of Ural Plants JSC.

The plant is located Izhevsk in and will become a key link in providing power structures with modern communication facilities, which will increase production volumes by 50%. According to reports, Interfax the new production site with an area of ​ ​ five and a half thousand square meters combines resources previously scattered in various parts of the city. The plant has introduced modern surface mounting lines, automatic component storage systems, as well as a selective soldering device and a multi-level quality control system, which ensures a high level of technological processes and increases the productivity of the enterprise.

The press service of the Ural Plant emphasized that the launch of a new production line is an important stage in the modernization of the company, which allows not only to optimize current processes, but also to use previously unused equipment. As a result of the modernization, the company will be able to significantly increase its staff, which, according to company representatives, will affect the growth of production capacity and meet the needs of law enforcement agencies in connection with the expansion of their tasks in the border areas and in the new territories of Russia.

The products of the enterprise - the means of communication of the Erica series - are already actively used by units of law enforcement ministries and departments. The new plant in Izhevsk, according to the company, will ensure sustainable technological sovereignty of Russia in the production of critical radio electronics for law enforcement agencies.[1]
