2026: Opening a factory for the production of chipboard for furniture in Udmurtia for 4 billion rubles
In the village of Uva, Udmurt Republic, a new production of chipboard (chipboard) was launched. The project, implemented at the site of Uvadrev-Holding, was the final stage in the launch of the company's plant. The new production was erected on the site of the former workshop. Such products can be used, among other things, for the production of children's furniture. The company will manufacture 2800×2070 mm slabs, the most popular in the furniture industry. The new lamination lines provide deep embossing and increased wear resistance of the coating.
The project has been implemented since 2012 as part of a public-private partnership. The Udmurt Republic ensured the creation of the necessary infrastructure, including the construction of access roads, and also provided tax breaks. According to Udmurtskaya Pravda, during the previous stage of modernization, with the assistance of the republican authorities, Uvadrev-Holding has already implemented a priority investment project in the field of forest development, launching a line with a capacity of 320 thousand cubic meters. m and creating 250 jobs.
