History

2023: Formation of the All-Union Research Institute of Certification

In September 2022, JSC All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Certification (JSC VNIIS) was formed.

According to the director of the institute, Andrei Viktorovich Lebedev, the goal of creating an updated institute is to unite the efforts of professionals, continue to work and revive the good name of the institute, adopting the best practices and developments of VNIIS, implementing exclusively responsible behavior in the economic life of the organization.

2022: Liquidation of JSC "All-Russian Research Institute of Certification"

In the conditions of tough competition of the technical regulation market and due to ambiguous management decisions, the institute stagnated and subsequently the trend towards a recession of activity was not interrupted. Thus, some of the leading employees left the institute, some of the employees made efforts to preserve scientific potential and fought to preserve the institute until the last hour. However, according to the information from the Vestnik State Registration source, part 2 No. 29 (899) of 27.07.2022 /3507 - the registration body (Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service No. 46 for Moscow) notified decision No. 52981 of the 25.07.2022 on the exclusion of JSC VNIIS with TIN 7703380581 as a legal entity from the unified state register of legal entities. On November 10, 2022, the All-Russian Research Institute of Certification Joint Stock Company ceased to exist.

2017: Transformation into JSC "All-Russian Research Institute of Certification"

In 2017, the institute was transformed into the Open Joint Stock Company "All-Russian Research Institute of Certification." Since that time, the institute has come under the control of new owners and new management. During the 5 years of work between 2017 and 2022, many positive results were achieved.

2011: Activities of VNIIS

As of November 2011, the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Certification (VNIIS) carries out research, methodological and consulting activities in the field of standardization, certification, accreditation, quality management. VNIIS develops scientific, methodological and organizational bases for confirming the conformity of products and services, is engaged in the development and certification of quality management systems, accreditation. The highly professional team of VNIIS made a great contribution to the development of the laws of the Russian Federation "On Protection of Consumer Rights," "On Certification of Products and Services," the Federal Law "On Technical Regulation," the Certification System GOST R.

1992: Change of status to the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Certification

In 1992, the institute changed its status to the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Certification and became the scientific and methodological center of the State Standard in this area of ​ ​ activity.

1965: Establishment of the All-Union Research Institute of Standardization

In 1965, the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Standardization was established.
