2023: Change of Ownership

Dmitry Kokin became the sole owner of Vet Union LLC (the operating company of the Vet Union veterinary clinic chain, which is part of Invitro). This was reported on August 10, 2023 by the Kommersant newspaper with reference to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Kokin through LLC "Simpson" owns 51% in the company "A-Telematics," which develops and supplies equipment for Russian Railways, indicates the publication.

Dmitry Kokin also transferred 74.9% of Proactive Inform, which manages the Med2Med medical Internet channel and other Invitro media projects, and 76% to Raritas Tera, which is a technical legal entity of the holding. The remaining shares in these structures passed to partner Roman Mironchik.

Vet Union veterinary clinic network passed into the possession of Dmitry Kokin

After the founder of Invitro Alexander Ostrovsky left the business earlier in 2023, Mironchik became the main owner of the head structure of Invitro, which also develops the network of medical laboratories of the same name. In August 2023, it was founded by Roman Mironchik "Invitro Holding Company."

Managing Director of Peregrine Capital Dmitry Gabyshev suggests that Dmitry Kokin could partially finance the deal to buy the main business of Invitro and the loan issued by him was converted into a share in other structures of the holding. In his opinion, Roman Mironchik may not be the only ultimate beneficiary of Invitro by acquiring this asset as part of a consortium of investors. Gazprombank could also participate in financing the transaction.

By August 2023, Vet Union is combining three veterinary clinics and a laboratory complex for animals. DSM Group CEO Sergei Shulyak estimates the cost of the network at 200-250 million rubles. There are not so many high-quality veterinary clinics and they are of interest to investors, says Sergey Sereda, president of the Russian Association of Practicing Veterinarians and founder of the Center veterinary clinic.[1]

The first such institution with an area of 200 square meters earned in the business center "Vernadsky" in the south-west of Moscow. By the end of 2021, it is planned to launch another center, and in 2022 the network will continue to expand.
