2024: Raising $2.2 million from business angel Abdulvadud Temirsultanov

Via MD financing was one of the first transactions on the Russian market on the principles of Islamic banking. The funds were raised as part of a musharaka agreement, a partnership financing based on religious Sharia rules. According to the results of the round, the MD estimate was $14.6 million, the investor's share was 6%.

The round was a key milestone in the company's diversity mission - the concept of diversity and inclusion of finance and decision makers to strengthen MD's position as an independent player in the medtech segment.

The investment will be aimed at implementing the key strategic goal of the company - the development of a single product for comprehensive work with cognitive skills and psycho-emotional state, preventive fight against brain aging and increasing the efficiency of all categories of users in both the B2C and B2B segments.

The Via MD product has been based on the work of MD (formerly MDINC) since 2016 in the field of neurorehabilitation and prevention of neurological diseases. After beer in 2023, the company expands the stream of preventive care for brain health and the development of new and lost cognitive skills with the Via MD service. Magomed-Amin Idilov (CEO), Alexander Krylov (ex-CTO Atlas Biomed Group, CIO MD) and Yuri Litvishchenko (ex-CEO of Chiesi Pharmaceuticals, CCO MD) take part in the development of the project.

Since November 2023, more than 5 and a half thousand people constantly use Via MD on a monthly basis, more than 39 thousand people have already used the product. In the B2B segment, MD partners with more than 20 partners. These include clinics and perinatal centers.

The company plans to reach 10 thousand regular users by the end of 2024, and to enter the MENA market in 2025.
