Suspension of licence after crash with 22 dead

In mid-October 2024, the Federal Air Transport Agency deprived Vityaz-Aero of the main documents - operator certificates, without which it cannot carry out air transportation. We are talking about the cancellation of two certificates for commercial air transportation and aviation work, as well as the certificate of a general aviation operator. The decision to revoke certificates from Vityaz-Aero was made based on the results of an inspection of the airline after the tragic crash of the Mi-8 helicopter in Kamchatka on August 31, 2024, in which 22 people died.
