History

2021: Criminal prosecution in the United States of former deputy director of the company Leonid Teif

In 2021, the trial of 59-year-old Leonid Teif, former deputy director of Voentorg, is nearing completion in the United States. He is in a case involving an attempt to contract murder and launder funds received in Russia for $150 million. The case file referred to at least 70 accounts and almost 300 transfers through Bank of America totaling $40 million. According to the investigation, in the United States money was laundering through the companies being created.

Teif has lived in the United States since 2010 and was caught bribing a $10,000 employee of the US Department of Homeland Security for deciding to deport the son of his housekeeper. The ex-deputy director of Voentorg assumed that the man had an affair with his wife. After the failure of the deportation plan, Teif intended to kill his wife's lover and offered $25 thousand for this to a person who worked for special services.

October 28, 2013 the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders decided to rename OJSC UT VVO to OJSC Voentorg-Vostok.

2012

On May 11, 2012, an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders decided to reorganize OJSC UT DVO by joining OJSC UT TOF, OJSC UT SibVO, OJSC Sapphir, OJSC PCC.

2009: Creation of a company

OJSC "Trade Department of the Eastern Military District" (formerly OJSC "Trade Department of the Far Eastern Military District") Created in 05.08.2009 by transforming the federal state-owned enterprise "Trade Administration of the Far Eastern Military District" in accordance with Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of September 15, 2008 No. 1359 "On the open joint-stock company Oboronservis," Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 22.11.2008 No. 875 "On measures for the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 15.09.2008, No. 1359 "On the open joint-stock company Oboronservis" and is its successor.
