2016: Reorganization of VGASU in the form of accession to VGTU
2016 — in March by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of VGASU it is reorganized in the form of accession to VGTU within formation in the Voronezh region of the regional reference university.
2011: Renaming into FSBEI of a Higher Professional Education VGASU
2011 — in May educations Russian Federation the higher education institution is renamed by the order of the Ministry and science into Federal state-funded educational institution of higher education "Voronezh state architectural and construction university".
2000: Renaming into Public Educational Institution of Higher Professional Training VGASU
2000 — the academy is renamed into the Voronezh state architectural and construction university — VGASU which is entered on January 17, 2003 to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities as Public educational institution of higher professional training the Voronezh state architectural and construction university.
1993: Renaming into VGASA
1993 — the institute is renamed into the Voronezh state architectural and construction academy — VGASA.
