Zenith Technologies

Zenith Technologies — the Irish company founded in 1998 offering automation systems, control of processes and production organization for the enterprises of the medicobiological industry. Zenith also offers services of consulting, system integration and management of services.

By the end of November, 2017 Zenith has 14 enterprises which are located near the large pharmaceutical production centers. The staff of the company makes more than 700 people working in the different countries.

2017: GE Healthcare investments

In November, 2017 the producer of the medical equipment GE Healthcare announced investment into Zenith Technologies. Financial terms of transaction do not reveal, but it is noted that GE Healthcare received a minority share in the company.

GE Healthcare and Zenith are old partners. According to the press release, investment supplement cooperation of the companies and introduce experience of Zenith in the field of automation to clients of GE Healthcare thanks to what producers of pharmaceutical products will be able to increase product quality and also performance and efficiency of the activity. Besides, the agreement assumes increase in automation at product development of the American giant.

Zenith Technologies offers systems and services for automation of development and production of pharmaceutical products

It is noted that modern automation it is capable to replace the most part of "manual" work during creation of medicines and plays a key role in coordination of production, control and documentary maintenance. Automated systems improve uniformity of characteristics of pharmaceutical products from a series to a series  and permanent monitoring of production, said in the joint message of GE Healthcare and Zenith.

The head of department of GE Healthcare Life Sciences Jan Makela adds that on complex and strongly regulated pharmaceutical market automation is crucial for clients who want to develop quickly and cheap production capacities.^[1]
