Top Sustainable Digital Development Projects to be awarded for the first time at TAdviser SummIT on November 27

Sustainable Digital Development (UCR) is the concept of responsible use of digital technologies, taking into account the associated direct and indirect economic, environmental and social impact. This concept was formulated by the Council for Sustainable Digital Development, an expert non-governmental platform formed on the basis of APKIT.

The goal of the new TAdviser SummIT award is to identify leaders in the application of the UCR concept in practice and domestic IT solutions with the most noticeable positive impact on the environment, social sphere, economy and management.

Applications for participation are accepted until November 7, 2025. They can be submitted by any company, the expert commission will objectively evaluate them on a non-commercial basis. IT products will be considered on the basis of the questionnaires provided in accordance with two types of criteria - the effectiveness of the product and its sustainability.

The award will take place during the new session of the summit - "Sustainable Digital Development," organized jointly with IBS. Its participants will discuss:

• IT and sustainable development. Why it is important to assess the impact of IT products on the environment, society, economy and governance;
• How to calculate the UCR effects. Methodology for assessing the stability of IT products;
• IT Product Risk Management;
• National standardization in the field of UCR. Development of GOST;
• Tools for automating sustainability assessment of IT products;
• Educational initiatives in the field of UCR;
• Business benefits of the UCR approach. Practical experience of market leaders.

The discussion seems especially relevant due to the fact that in the fall of 2025 it is planned to issue the world's first national standard for UCR (GOST). APKIT, the Institute of Standardization, the National Alliance for Sustainable Development, the Skolkovo Foundation, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, RUSSOFT, ARPP Fatherland Software, the Association of KP VET, the Association of Fast-Growing Technology Companies National Champions, IBS, Sberbank, Russian Railways, Astra Group participated in its preparation. The emergence of a new GOST, as its developers expect, will be an advantage for Russian companies, including when entering foreign markets.
