FGC UES finally deletes all systems on 1C

In branches "FGC UES" use of 1C for automation of budget processes comes to the end, TAdviser the deputy director on IT of the companyAlexander Shchekanov told on April 16, 2013. According to him, initially 1C was used for accounting in all branches of the company. In 2006 large-scale SAP implementation regarding automation of financial processes at which use of 1C was decided to save only in budget process of branches began.

The ERP system of SAP finished taking into account features of financial processes of the company at first was implemented in central office of FGC UES, and with local budgeting systems in branches she exchanged files in a special format, tells the deputy director on IT of the company.

As of April, 2013, according to Alexander Shchekanov, replacement of 1C by SAP in branches of the company by replication of the solution implemented in executive office of FGC UES which is going to be completed within three months is conducted.

"During this term we expect to transfer completely budget processes of 1C to SAP in all divisions of the company", - the Deputy Chief information officer of FGC UES says, adding that in the company there is a task completely to refuse local 1C, whatever local problems they solved at the moment.

What product 1C still continues to be used in branches "FGC UES", in the company found it difficult to call. From products of SAP in the company solutions SAP Business Suite SAP SRM, by SAP Business Objects, SAP BI and a number of others are implemented. Users of ERP SAP in FGC UES, according to Alexander Shchekanov, are more than 6.5 thousand employees now.

1C considers that in similar stories "and for colleagues on the market of ERP systems, and for IT specialists it would be correct to provide exact names and versions of software products about which there is a speech". Add to the companies that, according to them, FGC UES "initially was guided by SAP and keeps long projects on implementation of this system with the middle of last decade".

The representative of 1C Alexey Kharitonov in a conversation with TAdviser noted that in 2004-2006 was engaged in setting of budgeting for FGC UES including Intalev company which then implemented as temporary ("model") solutions the developments on the 1C: Enterprise platform still of version 7.7.

"If it is about these solutions, then leaves that at initial installation of the client on SAP, it since 2005 still successfully used in some divisions of "temporary barracks" on the 1C: Enterprise of version 7.7 platform, obsolete even at the time of implementation, - Alexey Kharitonov says. - In our opinion, these a lot of things speak also about "margin of safety" even of old versions of the 1C: Enterprise platform, and about real terms of project implementation on SAP".
