About 180 passwords belonging to members of the partner organization FBI in Atlanta were stolen and posted On the Internet. Yesterday it was confirmed officially by the representative of the organization.
Logins belonged to mailboxes of e-mail to InfraGard local office, the partnership implementing information exchange about physical threat to the state and Internet infrastructure of the USA, the president of representation told.
"Someone compromised the website, - Paul Farley, the president of member alliance InfraGard by e-mail wrote. – Now we do not know as attack or the method used for obtaining passwords is implemented".
Copies of passwords which, most likely, belong to users of U.S. Army, the organizations for cyber security and the large companies of communication were posted online by on-line group of hackers of Lulz Security which took the responsibility for a number of the attacks last week.
In the statement of Lulz Security also claims that for theft of nearly 1000 working and private messages of e-mail from the chief executive in Wilmington (State of Delaware), one of passwords is used. Lulz Security claims that their actions - the answer to the recent report of the Pentagon where the possibility to equate some cyber attacks to military operations is considered.
Yesterday told FBI that the service takes steps for mitigation of damage.
