Microsoft and SAP reduce gaps

Microsoft and SAP configure some products for simplification of cloud deployments within the joint customer base.

SAP will disclose some functionality in the software so that it was easier to be used within the platform Microsoft .Net and also from a cloud service Microsoft Azure. These cunnings should promote acceleration of application development .Net, interacting with programs SAP and also to simplify connection of cloud applicaions Azure to internal systems SAP, told the company.

Having integration with .Net, developers will be able to use a working environment of NetWeaver Gateway from SAP for connection, without having any specific knowledge of how to use the gateway. At creating applications developers will be able to use the gateway for creation of programs which take data from Business Suite SAP application. Technology interaction will be available as addition (add-on) in the subsequent releases of the Visual Studio and also in modifications of a working environment of .Net.

Within partnership development of software of the developer (SDK) for ensuring interaction of a cloud platform of Azure with NetWeaver Gateway will be provided. This SDK will allow developers to connect internal systems of the enterprises on the basis of SAP to deployments on the basis of Azure.

The companies cooperate not for the first time. This year they already released Duet Enterprise, the software connecting Microsoft SharePoint 2010 to SAP applications of ERP.
