Online services of SKB Kontur will become available through network of partners of Parallels

As a result service providers and telecom operators will be able to earn more, offering web services, relevant for small and medium business, by "the principle of one window". SKB Kontur will master the new sales channel. And Parallels will expand the online directory of the web services available to use on the websites of providers. Today by such principle the Parallels platform ensures functioning more than 250 business focused web services from independent developers (such as SKB Kontur) worldwide. In Russia the company is faced by a task to increase number of web applications in Russian, having provided 70-80% of requirements of small business.

This project clearly demonstrates two trends: rapid growth of interest of independent developers in sale of the services via more powerful channels (by analogy with AppStore Apple) and the mutual interest of hosters and telecommunication companies in expansion of a packet of services of added value, unwillingness to become only to channels of access to cloud service providers. The web service by the time of resale, the more attractive it for hosters and telecom operators is more known.

The developers wishing to begin similar partnership with hosters and telecom operators need to certify the web service according to the APS standard (Application Packaging Standard). The APS standard represents a set of the specifications compatible to the Parallels Automation platform that automates delivery and installation of online services from provider on client side.
