Alexander Shulgin came to Yandex in 2010 as financial director. In 2011, with his participation, the company held an initial offering of shares on the Nasdaq exchange. Before Yandex, Shulgin worked for 10 years in various financial positions at Coca-Cola, in 2007 he became the financial director of Coca-Cola in Russia.
