Alexey Kidalov began working in the executive authorities of the Volgograd region in 2009.

In 2016, he took the post of Deputy Chairman of the Information Technology Committee of the Volgograd Region.

2021

Appointment as Chairman of the Information Technology Committee of the Volgograd Region

On June 24, 2021, the Committee of Information Technologies of the Volgograd Region announced the appointment of Alexei Kidalov as the new chairman. The former head Sergei Torbin resigned in April 2021 in connection with the transition to a new place of work (to which one, it was not specified). Then Alexey Kidalov was appointed interim chairman.

On June 17, 2021, the candidacy of the new head of regional information technology in the person of Alexei Kidalov, introduced by the Governor of the Volgograd Region Andrei Bocharov, was approved by the deputies of the Volgograd Regional Duma. She also received support from the presidium of the political council of the Volgograd regional branch of the United Russia party. This approach, as noted then, is intended to consolidate the efforts of the legislative and executive authorities, political associations, civil society institutions for the successful implementation of national projects and development programs in the region.

Kidalov will continue to engage in the digital development of the region, the creation of information systems for various budgetary organizations, the improvement of the intellectual transport system, etc.

As reported on the committee's website, Kidalov participated in the implementation of the Federal Law "On the Basics of Social Services for Citizens in the Russian Federation," in the implementation of the project "Multiregionality of EPGU" and the project to connect socially significant objects on the territory of the Volgograd region to the Internet, as well as in the creation and development of many information systems.^[1]
