2023: Appointment as CEO of Atomais
In mid-November 2023, Alexei Ilyasov headed Atomaiz, one of the largest participants in the Russian digital financial asset market (CFA). In this post, he replaced Ekaterina Frolovicheva, who has been the general director of Atomais since the company was founded.
According to Interros (one of Atomaiz's investors), one of Ilyasov's priority tasks in the company is to update the business strategy, develop a product factory and automated platform solutions for the CFA market.
Catherine's accumulated experience in building the first CFA platform and participating in the development of the regulatory landscape of digital rights will be indispensable in new projects that she will lead. Their implementation is designed to expand the geography of digital financial asset markets and bring them to a new qualitative level. We are also glad to welcome Alexei to the Atomaiz team. Today, the company is entering a new phase of intensive growth. I am sure that his knowledge and unique experience in management and IT will help us achieve even greater success, - the words of Interros CEO Sergei Batekhin are quoted in the message. |
There may be several reasons for changing the head of the company, says independent analyst Andrei Barkhota:
- implementation of financial tasks against the background of the possible profit of Atomais in the amount of several hundred million rubles.
- different professional profiles of top managers, since Frolovicheva, according to Barkhota, "is more of a root IT expert who worked in such giants as IBM and Sberbank," and Interros expects not only payback, but also "more ambitious financial results."
By mid-November 2023, Atomais occupies 17% of the CFA market in terms of volume and 44% in terms of the number of issues, is a business and technological pioneer in the field of digital rights.[1]
