From November 2018 to June 2020, he served as president of Sitronics JSC.

Since July 2020, he became vice president for sales and project management at Sitronics, focusing on the development of the company's commercial and project blocks.

2025: Appointment as President of Sitronics Group

On May 5, 2025, Alexey Marukhin took office as president of Sitronics JSC (Sitronics Group brand). In his new position, he will oversee the strategic development of the company with an emphasis on digital infrastructure solutions. As president of the group, Marukhin replaced Sergei Tkachenko, who had been in this position since September 2024.

According to the press service of Sitronics Group, Alexey Marukhin has significant managerial experience in the implementation of large infrastructure projects. Prior to his appointment to Sitronics Group, he held leadership positions in K-Technologies JSC and MTU Saturn JSC, and also headed infrastructure development at VK LLC and Kh5 Technologies LLC.

From the message of Sitronics Group it follows that the priority areas of the company under the leadership of Alexei Marukhin will be:

• development of digital infrastructure projects in the areas of security and transport.
• modernization of ship traffic control systems (VTS) to improve the safety of navigation in ports.
• introduction of innovative technologies, including video surveillance and video analytics, in order to improve the level of security in key industries: transport infrastructure, urban economy, industry and public spaces.

Sitronics Group also intends to strengthen its position in the market of high-tech solutions, using the expertise of a new head in managing complex projects and digital transformation.
