2023: Appointment as Head of the Board of Directors of Tinkoff

In mid-November 2023, Tinkoff announced the appointment of Alexei Malinovsky as chairman of the board of directors of the Cyprus holding TCS Group Holding (the parent structure of the Russian financial group). As head of the holding's board of directors, he replaced Konstantinos Economides.

Konstantinos Economides worked for TCS Group for 15 years as a board member and its chairman. He spoke about his departure on November 7, 2023.

In mid-October 2023, the group announced its intention to hold an extraordinary meeting of shareholders on November 21. It was clarified that during the meeting it is planned to discuss the issue of granting the board of directors the authority to redeem ordinary shares or shares in ordinary shares, including global depositary receipts of the company.[1]
