The former press secretary of Roskomnadzor Vadim Ampelonsky became in October, 2020 the director of public relations of the Moscow academic theater (Moscow Art Theatre) of M. Gorky. Ampelonsky reported about it on the page on social network Facebook.

The press secretary of Roskomnadzor Vadim Ampelonsky acting as the accused of criminal case about waste left the place in January, 2020. The being PR-director of VimpelCom Elena Prokhorova became the new press secretary of Roskomnadzor.

2017: The defendant in the case about fraud

The Moscow City Court mitigated conditions of house arrest of the press secretary of Roskomnadzor Vadim Ampelonsky in November, having permited it two-hour walks. The court considered the petition for appeal on Ampelonsky's arrest till February 7^[1].

On October 11 it became known that the press secretary of Roskomnadzor Vadim Ampelonsky, the head of legal department of department Boris Edidin and the head of administration Alexander Veselchakov became defendants in the case about fraud. As mass media reported , in Roskomnadzor the scheme of payment of "grey" salaries when employees received a part of earnings as dummy employees of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Main Radio-frequency Center under control of department worked. Total amount of illegal payments was estimated at 20 million rubles.
