Biography

Born in 1983 in the city of Sarapul, Udmurt Republic. He has two higher educations.

In 2006 he graduated, Izhevsk State Technical University after which he began working automobile industries at a Nissan dealership in, Izhevsk where for several years he grew up to the head of the Service Department.

In 2011, he moved to the Russian division of Nissan.

From 2011 to 2022, he worked for Nissan in various positions in the areas of after-sales, sales and marketing. Including headed the Datsun brand from 2017 to 2020 and the Nissan marketing department from 2020 to 2022.

2022: Nissan East managing director

On July 13, 2022, it became known that Nissan had changed the composition of the leadership of Nissan RBU East (Regional Business Unit Nissan East), which is responsible for the markets of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Since July 13, 2022, Andrei Chirkov has been appointed Managing Director of Nissan RBU East. It includes key areas of Nissan's business in Russia: sales, marketing, dealer network development and after-sales service.

In his position, Andrei Chirkov is directly subordinate to Jordi Villa, Vice President, who oversees sales and marketing of Nissan in Europe.

Andrei Akifiev, who served as Managing Director of Nissan RBU East, decided to leave the company. During his work at Nissan since 2004 in various positions in Russia and Europe, he made a great contribution to the development of^[1] brand^[2].
