Andrei Yershov was born in 1974 in the village of Don-El of the Komi Republic.
Education
Andrei Yershov is a graduate of the Sasov Flight School with the qualification of "pilot" (1993) and Syktyvkar State University in the direction of training "organization management" (1998). In 2003 he graduated from the presidential program for the training of management personnel (financial management).
Career
2007-2019
In 2007-2009, Andrei Yershov served as commercial director of the Siberia markroregion, Mobile TeleSystems JSC (MTS);
Until 2014, he was the director of branches in Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg Komi, and the commercial director of Ural JSC. From VimpelCom 2015 to 2019 - Director of the Tyumen Branch, then - head of the Yuzhny macro-region.
2023: Appointment as Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the LPR
In August 2023, Andrei Yershov was appointed the new Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). Prior to that, he was the director of the Siberia macro-region of TransTeleCom Company JSC, the press service of the LPR government said. They also noted that all the labor activities of Andrei Ershov are related to telecommunications.
Andrei Yershov headed the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Luhansk People's Republic instead of Andrei Eremenko. The reasons for the change of the head of the department by August 22, 2023 are not called.[1]
