Started the career in area of investment banking in 1989 in Merrill Lynch & Co in New York, and in 1992 joined group on work with financial institutions in London.

In 1999 passed as the senior vice president of investment banking department into Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette International (purchased afterwards by Credit Suisse).
