Biography

Born July 18, 1974 in the Bryansk region.

He graduated from the Ordzhonikidze State Academy of Management (since 1998 - the State University of Management) with a degree in economics and management.

Additional vocational education:

• He has a qualification certificate FFMS Russia 1.0, a qualification certificate for anti-crisis management of the FSDN.
• Graduate of Yale School of Management.

1995: Work on the Russian stock market

He has been working on the Russian stock market since 1995. He has extensive experience in the Russian stock market and a deep understanding of its development trends. He implemented a number of his own projects using various stock market instruments.

2008: General Director of Aton

From July 2008 to 2012 - General Director of Aton LLC, a member of the Aton investment group. In recent years, he has repeatedly advised the Aton investment group as an external expert on strategic business development.

2012: Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of MosExchange

In 2012-2016 - Deputy Chairman of the Board of the MosExchange.

2016-2022: Vice President of Sberbank

Since 2016 - Vice President of Sberbank, Head of the Department of Global Markets.

On May 16, 2022, it became known that Senior Vice President Andrei Shemetov decided to leave Sberbank. The reasons for leaving are not reported. The decision was made against the background of the ongoing special operation of Russia in Ukraine.
