Biography
He graduated from the Higher School of Economics with a degree in Information Technologies, and also received a master's degree in economics from the RANEPA. He holds a number of patents for malware detection technologies.
He has been working at Kaspersky Lab since 2011. He began his career path in the company from the position of a viral analyst. In 2017, he headed the behavioral detection group, the purpose of which is to proactively protect customers from various types of cyber threats, including ransomware. In 2019, he became Director of the Department of Research and Detection of Complex Threats (VP Threat Research). In this role, he was responsible for solving a number of strategic tasks, including developing and promoting the Kaspersky Threat Research Team and building up the company's technology stack. Since 2021, he headed the Department of Research and Development (R&D), the main task of which is the technological development of Kaspersky Lab products.
As of 2025, he is the technical director of Kaspersky Lab.
