Biography

Igor was born on August 26, 1957.

In 1979 graduated from the Perm polytechnical institute.

In 2001 graduated from Academy of National Economy.

Since 1979 worked at the Perm enterprise "JSC "Proton"-PM".

In 2006 JSC "Proton"-PM received the CEO's position.

Since 2014 the board member of JSC URSC began to work as the deputy CEO for production development.

For July 20, 2017 Igor Aleksandrovich Arbuzov works as the CEO of NPO Energomash.

Achievements

• Valid corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences;
• corresponding member of the Russian academy of astronautics of K.E. Tsiolkovsky;
• the author and the coauthor of many research and production patents and inventions in the field of manufacturing techniques of rocket engines;
• the winner of an award of the Government of the Russian Federation in science and technology (1998, 2008);
• it is awarded with a medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the II degree (2011).
