At the end of November 2021, it became known about the appointment of a new general director of Biblio-Globus. The largest tour operator in Russia was headed by the former director of the Aeroflot sales department Rinat Asmatullov.

The change of the head of the tour operator is due to the need to increase the efficiency of the company's activities with significant restrictions on tourist destinations: reducing costs by optimizing the processes of interaction with airlines and increasing sales in the face of increased competition in the travel market, - said Anna Zakharenkova.

According to her, the candidacy of the new CEO and his competencies fully meet these requirements. Asmatullov's primary tasks in the new post will be the inclusion of corporate procedures and business processes in the contour of the Sheremetyevo group of companies and the development of an ambitious tour operator strategy in the medium term, she added.

The top manager of the Aeroflot group, in a conversation with Vedomosti, called Rinat Asmatullov a professional in revenue management with extensive experience in understanding the work of low-cost airlines. According to the interlocutor of the newspaper, Asmatullov decided to change his place of work on his own: he received a good offer and agreed. In Biblio-Globe, the owner and management model are changing, he said.
