2023: Top spot in Codemasters Code Cup programming tournament

Saransk student won first place in the Codemasters Code Cup programming tournament. This information was shared with TAdviser on October 2, 2023 by representatives of Codemasters International.

Just 370 students from 63 cities from Vladivostok to registered for the Codemasters Code Cup in 2023. St. Petersburg The final competition, which took place in the city, Tula was attended by 16 students of such universities as,,,, MAI MIPT HSE UUNIT ITMO,, MGKIT Moscow State University. According to the rules of the competition, anyone over 17 could become a participant. The championship consisted of two stages, the first of which was held online, for the final competition the participants came to the office of Codemasters International in Tula.

In the final, 8 strongest programmers each fought for the right to be the best in the tracks "Sports Programming" and "Business Application Development." The award for the first place in each track is 100 thousand rubles, for the second - 50 thousand rubles, for the third - 30 thousand.

In the track "Development of business applications" four Saransk students of Moscow State University named after Ogarev reached the final. Alexey Bantorin, Andrey Rotanov, Alexander Tynov and Muhammadnur Avaz Ugli Orifov went to Tula to fight for prizes with other finalists. The first place was taken as a result by a Saransk student of Moscow State University. Ogarev Alexey Bantorin, the second - Vladimir Vorobyov from RTU MIREA (Moscow), the third - Andrei Skibin from UUNIT Kumertau.

In turn, in the track "Sports Programming" the first and second places were taken by students of the Higher School of Economics Fedor Romashov and Bogdan Yandulov (Moscow), the third - a student of MIPT Anton Beliy from Petrozavodsk.

Also, the participants received special prizes from the Codemasters International Developer School, the Saransk IT community FoxDevs and the Tula IT community TulaDev.
