Biography

2012-2014: Work in Danaher Corporation

In 2012-2014 Pat Bern worked as the technical director of the company of Danaher. On this post he was responsible for transactions on merges and absorption and also new IT projects, reported on its page in LinkedIn social network. At that time Larry Kalp who passed afterwards into GE along with Bern was the CEO of Danaher.

2019: Appointment of GE Digital as the head

In July, 2019 Pat Bern headed GE Digital company in which the General Electric concern transferred the assets in the field of industrial Internet of Things.

Bern will replace Bill of Rukh (Bill Ruh) which directed division of GE Digital during the period since 2015 until the end of the 2018th.

The CEO of GE Larry Kalp noted that Bern was leadership team of the company at "the crucial moment when the company carries out the priority tasks to improve a financial position of GE and to strengthen business".

It was in the center of digital transformation everywhere where worked, and has huge experience of start of business and interaction between divisions in the large companies. The technical knowledge and deep experience Peta allowing to differentiate industrial technologies by means of the software and analytics make him the suitable head for development of this business in the future — Kalp said.

The CEO of GrayMatter (the partner of GE Digital) Jim Gillepsie considers that experience Peta of Bern with industrial technologies will give GE Digital of advantage as many clients look for reliable partners who will help them to be ahead of competitors from digital transformation.

Bern says that it is glad to join GE during conversions of digital business which advances software, allowing clients to work more effectively and to be more protected.

By July, 2019 Pat Bern remains the board member of the Micron Technology company which is engaged in production of chips of memory.[1]
