Career

Bernd Gross came to Software AG as the CEO and the cofounder of the company specializing in development of Cumulocity — platforms for Internet of Things — from the moment of its acquisition in 2017. Bernd was responsible for entry of Software AG into the IoT-market and transition of the company to use of cloud computing.

As of February, 2018, worked as the senior vice president of Software AG concerning IoT and cloud computing.

On January 8, 2019 Bernd Gross entered a position of the technical director of the company of Software AG. On a response of representatives of the company, it has rich experience of implementation of business innovations regarding integration, analytics and technologies of Internet of Things in large industries. In this quality it replaced Dr. Wolfram Jost who headed development of technologies of digital transformation and made the decision to leave the company.

Bernd achieved success in formation of Cumulocity and all company in the market of integration frameworks of Internet of Things and devices. Its aiming at the solution of business challenges, deep understanding of technologies and also capability to anticipate future requirements of the market do of Bernd of the ideal candidate for a position of the technical director of the company — Sanjay Brahmawar, the chief executive of Software AG said.

Gross commented on the appointment so: "For me Internet of Things is wider, than just Big Data or device management.
