Popov Boris Vasilyevich

Biography

Born in 1965. In 1991 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering with a degree in Applied Mathematics.

He has been working in the telecommunications market since 1995, in leadership positions in Russian companies. Since 1999, he has been developing advanced video communication technology in Russia and the CIS countries.

Since January 2007, he worked at the Moscow office of TANDBERG Telecom AS, initially as technical director, and then director for business development of the company in Russia and the CIS countries. As a result of the takeover of Tandberg by Cisco in 2010, the Cisco TelePresence technology group was formed, where Boris Popov took over as business development manager. For the past three years he has been the manager of work with large state customers of Cisco.

Since October 2015, Boris Vasilyevich Popov has been the regional director of Pexip in Russia and the CIS. Boris Popov will be responsible for both creating the Pexip partner infrastructure in the accountable region and building direct relationships with key customers. No less important will be the task of creating conditions for interaction with Pexip clients on a long-term basis.
