I thank my colleagues for the joint development of the industry, joint achievements, and there are many of them. In the last couple of years alone (by the beginning of 2024), the volume of high-tech medical care provided has grown by more than 30%, six new methods have been introduced. I am sure that the healthcare industry in the region will continue to develop at a rapid pace, "Boychenko notes.

In August 2023, Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko criticized the work of health leaders in the Khabarovsk Territory. The region has disrupted the implementation of the targets of the federal project "Fight against Cancer." In particular, of the 3 billion rubles allocated to the region for the fight against cancer in 2022, 500 million rubles were not spent. Murashko announced the need to raise the question of the professional suitability of the industry leadership in the Khabarovsk Territory.

After Boychenko leaves, his deputy Inna Malinina will act as Minister of Health of the region. According to Mikhail Sidorov, chairman of the Just Russia - For Truth branch in the Khabarovsk Territory, in the future this position will be taken by the chief physician of the regional clinical hospital No. 1 named after S.I. Sergeyev Andrey Subbotin. In 2017-2019, he served as Minister of Health in the Amur Region, but was dismissed amid a scandal with hepatitis C infection in children at the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital[2]
