Biography

Burenkas Vasily Mikhaylovich was born on June 19, 1957 in the Chernihiv region.

With honors graduated from the Kaliningrad highest engineering school of engineering troops (1979), evening department of Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering (1984) and the high courses Military academy of the General Staff of Russian Armed Forces (1997).

Served in 46 Central Research Institutes Ministry of Defence, holding consistently positions from the junior researcher to the chief researcher.

Since March, 2002 — the chief 46 Central Research Institutes Ministry of Defence. The specialist in the field of a program and target planiro- vaniye of development of arms and military equipment.

In 2003 the major general received a military rank.

For December, 2007 professor, full member of Academy of military sciences, Academies of problems of quality, corresponding member of the Russian academy of rocket and artillery sciences. The member of scientific and technical council of the Russian Government Military-Industrial Commission, the member of expert advice of VAK at the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

Publications

Directly participated in justification of three Russian State programs of arms: for 1996-2005, 2006-2010, 2007-2015.

The author of numerous articles published in the magazines "Voyennaya Mysl", "Voyenno-istorichesky zhurnal", "Voyenny parad", "Armeysky sbornik", "Ekonomika i matematicheskiye metody", "Natsionalnaya bezopasnost", "Voyenno-ekonomichesky vestnik", "Vestnik Akademii voyennykh nauk", "Vozdushno-kosmicheskaya oborona", etc. more than 230 printing works. Author of a number of monographs, including "Military budget of the state. The coauthor of manuals, including "Theoretical bases of modeling and efficiency evaluation of weapon systems" (2000) for students of Military academy of G.K. Zhukov, "The theory of arms" (2002) for applicants of academic degrees in the specialty 2/20/01.

Has 96 copyright certificates on inventions from which number is implemented.

Awards

It is awarded with the Order of Honour (1997), eight medals, the sign "Inventor of the USSR". The winner of the State award of the Russian Federation of G.K. Zhukov (2008). Doctor of Engineering (1995), professor (2002). Honored worker of science of the Russian Federation (2008). The winner of awards of A.A. Svechin and A.V. Suvorov awarded by Academy of military sciences.
