Biography

Andrey Aleksandrovich Dementiev was born on November 16, 1960 in the city of Tomsk.

In 1983 graduated from the Tomsk polytechnical institute majoring in "Nuclear power plants and installations", having received a profession the engineer-heatpower engineering specialist.

From 1983 to 1999 worked at the Bilibino NPP (Bilibino):

• till 1988 worked as the engineer of control of the block, the senior engineer of control of the block;
• till 1992 – the shift supervisor of reactor and turbine workshop;
• till 1997 – the deputy chief engineer for nuclear security,
• from 1997 to 1999 – the chief engineer of the Bilibino NPP.

In 1999 the Rosenergoatom Concern (Moscow) is appointed to a position of the deputy manager of Department on reconstruction and life extension of federal state unitary enterprise.

In 2003 – the deputy manager of Department of upgrade and life extension of the NPP of Rosenergoatom.

From 2003 to 2009 – the Head of Department of upgrade and life extension of the NPP of Rosenergoatom Concern.

In 2009-2010 – the chief of the department of prolongation of life, planning, upgrade and resource providing the NPP of Rosenergoatom Concern.

In 2010 it is appointed to a position of the associate director on production and operation of the NPP – directors of the department of production planning, upgrade and prolongation of life of Rosenergoatom Concern.

Since September, 2016 is the Deputy CEO – the director of production and operation of the NPP of Rosenergoatom Concern.

It is mentioned by a set of the state and departmental awards, honorary titles:

• 1999 – "The honored power engineering specialist of the Russian Federation";
• 1998 – Certificate of honor of the Ministry and Central Committee of Labor union;
• 1999 – Gratitude of the Ministry of the Russian Federation of atomic energy;
• 2003 – Certificate of honor of the Ministry of the Russian Federation of atomic energy;
• 2010 – Breastplate "Academician I.V. Kurchatov" 4 degrees;
• 2002 – A silver medal of Rosenergoatom Concern "For merits in increase in security of nuclear power plants";
• 2004 – Gratitude of the CEO of Rosenergoatom Concern;
• 2010 – Gratitude of the CEO of JSC Rosenergoatom Concern;
• 2010 – Rank "Veteran of Nuclear Power";
• 2010 – Gratitude of the CEO of JSC Rosenergoatom Concern;
• 2011 – Gratitude of the CEO of JSC Rosenergoatom Concern;
• 2014 – Honourable power engineering specialist;
• 2015 – A gold medal of JSC Rosenergoatom Concern "For merits in increase in security of nuclear power plants".

For May 16, 2018 Andrey Aleksandrovich Dementiev works as the deputy CEO – the director of production and operation of the NPP "Rosenergoatom"^[1].
