Biography

Was born on May 15, 1958 in the village of Domashovo of the Bryansk district of the Bryansk region, Russia.

Education

1977 - graduated from Novozybkovsky agricultural technical school.

1986 - graduated from All-Union agricultural institute of the correspondence education, having received specialty "Mechanical engineer".

2003 - graduated from the Russian academy of public service under the President of the Russian Federation.

Scientific degree

Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Candidate of agricultural sciences.

Doctor of the State university of management.

Career

1977 - For 1980 - worked in state farm Domashovsky (The Bryansk district of the Bryansk region) as the mechanic, the combine operator, the mechanic managing workshops of state farm.

1980 - it was elected the chairman of Domashovsky village council of the Bryansk district.

1981 - it is appointed the director of state farm Domashovsky.

1983 - For 1985 - it was elected the deputy of the Bryansk regional council.

Was a member of the CPSU before its prohibition in August, 1991.

1992 - headed poultry farm of Snowball in the settlement the Permit of the Bryansk region.

1993 - became the CEO of poultry farm which was incorporated, having received the name of JSC Snezhka.

On December 8, 1996 - it was elected the deputy of the Bryansk region duma of the third convocation on constituency No. 23. It was put forward by group of voters and it is supported the CPRF. Collected 56.2% of votes.

December, 1999 - stood in deputies of the State Duma of the III convocation on the Bryansk single-candidate constituency No. 64. It was put forward by voters. Received 17.73% of votes (the second place) on elections, having lost to Vasily Shandybin (36.59%).

2000 - during the election campaign on Russian presidential elections took part in work of the headquarters in support of Vladimir Putin.

On December 10, 2000 - on elections of the head of administration of area took the second place (21.09% of voices).

On December 10, 2000 - it was elected the deputy of the Bryansk region duma of the third convocation. Applied for a post of the chairman of region duma, but lost to Valentina Dyomina.

March, 2001 - was elected by the chairman of the Bryansk regional Coordination Council of a batch Unity.

September, 2003 - it was proposed as a batch United Russia the candidate of the State Duma of the VI convocation on the Bryansk single-candidate Constituency No. 66 of (Bryansk region). Won elections with result of 31.95% of votes.

In the State Duma was a part of fraction of United Russia, became the member of the State Duma Agriculture Committee.

January-December, 2004 - the deputy of the Parliamentary meeting of the Union of Russia and Belarus.

September, 2004 - vydvnut again the candidate for an area post of the head. The main rival, the acting head of administration Yury Lodkin, was supported by the CPRF and Agrarian party (block "The CPRF — the Agrarian Party of Russia for the Victory!").

On November 29, 2004 - in the first round of elections Denin gained 44.7% and succeeded to the second round together with the candidate of the Union of Right Forces Evgeny Zelenko (12.5%). Against all 20.5% voted. The second round was won by Denin who received 77.83%.

On December 28, 2004 - powers as deputy of the State Duma in connection with election to a position of the governor of the Bryansk region are ahead of schedule stopped.

2007: Governor of the Bryansk region

On October 18, 2007 - deputies of the Bryansk region duma, having considered representation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, made the decision on investment with its powers of the Governor of the Bryansk region for the next five years.

October, 2007 - was headed by the regional candidate list of United Russia in the Bryansk region at State Duma elections of the V convocation. After the victory refused the deputy mandate.

On October 05, 2012 - according to the complaint of the candidate of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vadim Potomsky, it was withdrawn from elections by the decision of the Bryansk regional court.

On October 11, 2012 - the decision of the Bryansk regional court is cancelled by the Supreme Court, Denin's registration as the candidate for governors was recovered.

On October 14, 2012 - it is elected the governor of the Bryansk region, having collected 65.22% of votes. The candidate of the CPRF Vadim Potomsky for the support received 30.83%. It was chosen for 5-year term.

On September 9, 2014 it is dismissed President of Russia V.V. Putin in connection with loss of trust.

Job responsibilities

Directly exercises control of work of the vice governor of the Bryansk region, deputy governors of the Bryansk region and also divisions of administration of the region:

• 1. Department of ensuring activity of the Governor of the Bryansk region.
• 2. Mobilization department.
• 3. Department of special document communication.
• 4. Department of security.
• 5. Permanent mission of administration of the Bryansk region at the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow.^[2].

On December 8, 2006 - participated in a meeting of the Tripartite commission on regulation of the social and labor relations of the CFD on the subject "Implementation of the Rights of Workers to Fair and Complete Payment of Work — a Basis of Fight against Poverty in Regions of Central Federal District" which took place in Moscow in World Trade Center^[3].

On June 24, 2008 - accepted veterans - participants of Victory Day parade in Moscow on June 24, 1945^[4].

On January 20, 2010 - took part in the All-Russian collecting on summing up activity of Universal State System of Prevention and Response to ES, accomplishment of actions of civil defense, the organized Ministry of Emergency Situations^[5].

July, 2010 - participated in the international seminar "Day of a field" which passed in farm of Olga Bogomaz and^[6] was devoted to modern technologies of cultivation of potatoes^[6].

On June 23, 2011 - participated in a foundation stone laying of the dairy Nemer complex under construction in Dubrovsky district^[7].

June, 2012 - took part in opening of a tournament of children's domestic commands on soccer. The tournament was held with active participation of Management on control of drug trafficking within implementation of preventive actions and the regional program "The Bryansk Yards without Drugs"^[8].

On August 18, 2012 - participated in celebrations on the occasion of the 125 anniversary from the date of foundation of repair locomotive depot Unecha (structural division of the Moscow directorate on repair of the traction rolling stock)^[9].

On February 15, 2013 - participated in the festive event devoted to summing up formation of the Youth government of the Bryansk region^[10].

Interesting Facts

On January 17, 2005 - moving on the Toyota Land Cruiser official car, brought down the woman who from traumatized died. The court sided with Denin, having found its not guilty of road accident (accident occurred because of the woman passing at night the route in not put place)^[11].

September, 2012 - it became known that MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS Russia Denina suspects that it, having exceeded the authority, selected 21.8 million rubles of JSC Snezhka from a reserve fund of area (which controlling stake belong to his relatives and which he headed before election as the governor) on mitigation of consequences of explosion in one of workshops of poultry farm, than caused significant damage to the regional budget. Denin denies personal interest in selection of money on mitigation of consequences of explosion and considers that interest in its actions is connected only with an election campaign, claims that he learned about claims of the Ministry of Internal Affairs only from media.

November 7, 2014. The investigation department of the IC RF across the Bryansk region brought criminal case concerning the former governor Nikolay Denin.

On May 21, 2015 charge of abuse of authority was brought to the former governor. He was under house arrest. November 19, 2015. The Soviet district court of Bryansk sentenced him to four years of standard regime penal colony and a penalty in the amount of 21.8 million rubles for benefit of administration of the Bryansk region. The ex-governor was taken into custody in the courtroom.

At the end of April, 2018 was released on parole^[12].
