2026: Appointment as CEO of Ikon Development

In mid-February 2026 Russia construction Ikon Development , Denis Markanov was appointed to the post of general director of one of the largest groups. In this position, he replaced Ivan Vinogradov, who led the company since July 2024.

Prior to his new appointment, Markanov headed the division of the Samolet development group - the South cluster (Moscow region). In addition, he led the companies SZ Samolet-Funds, SZ Samolet-Ostrov, SZ Samolet-Bogdanovsky Forest and other structures of the group. He served as general director of Mega-City LLC (one of the founders is Samolet Group of Companies), which specializes in the purchase and sale of land.

As head of Ikon Development, as reported, Markanov will have to engage in the implementation of the company's long-term strategy, expanding investment activities, ensuring the fulfillment of all developer obligations, as well as increasing commercial efficiency and developing projects taking into account social and market priorities.

In turn, after leaving the post of head of Ikon Development, Vinogradov will focus on the management and development of a "major investment project." It is noted that Vinogradov made a significant contribution to the development of Ikon Development: in particular, under his leadership, the company made structural changes, diversified the project portfolio, and also completed the implementation of two residential projects in the Moscow region.

Ikon Development was established in 2014. Her projects include the restoration of the laundry of the Narkomfin house on Novinsky Boulevard in Moscow, the Chkalov House apartment complex on the Garden Ring, the ParkVille cottage village on Rublevo-Uspenskoe highway, the Skolkovo One residential complex near Moscow and Novy Zelenograd^[1]
