Biography

Graduated from faculty of the international economic relations of the Russian economic academy of G.V. Plekhanov, a postgraduate study of the Moscow Aviation Institute; went programs of advanced training to Columbia Business School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Three years directed department of information technologies of RUSAL, was the head of the Aluminium division, and then – the chief executive of UC RUSAL.

It is appointed the president of the Asteros group on June 16, 2009. Since April 1, 2012 left a post of the president of Asteros and remained the board member of group.

In 2013 Mikhail Ehrenburg joined a command of the IT block of Sberbank and held a position of the senior managing director of IT for finance and work with partners. Afterwards held a position of the senior managing director and Sberbank with suppliers of the IT equipment and software was responsible for relationship of group.

In 2015 it was appointed the vice president and the head of directorate for development of digital business of Sberbank. In this position Ehrenburg replaced Victor Orlovsky who left the post in connection with transition to a position of the director of management company of SBTV Fund I venture Fund.

In January, 2017 the Kommersant newspaper reported that Mikhail Ehrenburg as the head of directorate on development of digital business since February will be replaced by Teymur Shternlib. Ehrenburg leaves Sberbank, but will continue cooperation with bank in other format, the newspaper reports.
