Evgeny Solntsev was born on September 28, 1980 in Voronezh.
Education
He has a specialized education in the field of construction - in 2002 he graduated from the Voronezh State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering with a degree in industrial and civil engineering, and in 2010 - graduate school of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.
Career
2004-20223
Solntsev began his career as a master and foreman. From February 2004 to July 2006, he worked as deputy chief, and then deputy manager of the Zheldortrest construction and installation trust, which is a branch of Russian Railways. Since September 2016, he headed the Directorate for the comprehensive reconstruction of railways and the construction of railway transport facilities in the structure of Russian Railways. Later he worked as an assistant to the Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Russia.
In June 2022, Solntsev was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the DPR Vitaly Khocenko, and in November 2022 he took the post of First Deputy Head of the DPR Government. Evgeny Solntsev became the head of the DPR government on March 30, 2023 by decree of Denis Pushilin.
