Biography

Got an education in LIIZhT of the academician V.N. Obraztsov as "systems engineer".

Studied at INSEAD business school according to the AMP program (The Advanced Management Programme).

In 1992 Andrey Fedorov together with Evgeny Matveevich Gavrilov founded Digital Design company in St. Petersburg. The idea of business is formulated as "creation of the modern European company making the software on the basis of ideology of TQM (Total Quality Management)".

At the initiative of Andrey Fedorov Digital Design of one of the first in the country received the international certificate of quality of the ISO 9001 series, passed assessment on compliance to the quality standard of CMMI and also became the winner of an award of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality in 2002.

2010: Russian-American joint venture

In September, 2010 it became known that Andrey Fedorov agrees about creation of joint venture with the American StreamScale. It is announced that the joint venture will be engaged in sales of the software created by Russians on outsourcing at Americans, used including, during the work on the movie "Avatars". The product is developed by Digital Design under the agreement of outsourcing for StreamScale. The program code and also competences in the market of DWH and access to final customers to the USA will become a deposit of the American side. Fedorov, in turn, intends to invest in him $1 million own means and to transfer the code of the similar product AvroRAID developed in Digital Design. Both products which will be transferred to firm ensure functioning with RAIDs, interfaces for management of them, maintaining magazines, etc. On their base the uniform product will be created. Americans will be engaged in its sales in the territory of the USA, Russians – in Russia.

2016: CEO of Raidix

In October, 2016 Andrey Fedorov entered a position of the CEO of Raidix company, Russian software maker for storage systems. The vector of development of the company is directed to mastering of the markets by means of specialized industry solutions and strengthening of positions in the Russian business market.

For March 23, 2018 Andrey Ryurikovich Fedorov acts as the chairman of the board of directors of Digital Design Group.
