Dismissal from a post of the head of the Ministry of Health of Komi in 2 weeks after appointment

On April 24, 2020 it became known of dismissal of Victoria Filin from a post of the Ministry of Health of the Komi Republic on which it stayed only about two weeks. Instead of it Boris Alexandrov is appointed the acting as.

The corresponding order was signed by the acting as the head of the region [[|Vladimir Uyba. According to information on the official site of the Ministry of Health of the republic, Elena Budarina and Elena Kaneva are appointed the Alexandrov's deputies.

Earlier all of them worked in  Federal Medical Biological Agency. Information on  the new management of the Ministry of Health of Komi  is updated  on  the website, but    there are no details of their biographies at the time of the publication of material (on April 27, 2020).

As specified TASS in the regional Ministry of Health, change of the minister took place on April 22, 2020. At the same time the reason of staff movements neither in the Ministry of Health, nor in administration of the head of the republic to the agency did not begin to be called. According to some information, Filin reserved a post of the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic.^[1]

The agency notes that Boris Alexandrov before becoming the interim Minister of Health of the Komi Republic, worked as the First Deputy Minister of Health in Komi, and before arrival to the region, as well as Filin, worked in one of structures of Federal Medical Biological Agency of the Russian Federation.

The Komi Republic is among regions with the greatest number of cases of infection of COVID-19 on 100 thousand population. By April 24, 2020 in the region it is recorded 553 infected, including four lethal cases. In total under medical observation there are 4254 patients, 28 people recovered. In several hospitals of Komi the coronavirus centers were revealed, among the diseased there were health workers. 

Appointment to the post of the Minister of Health of Komi

On April 10, 2020 Dmitry Berezin was dismissed from a post of the Minister of Health of Komi. The corresponding order was signed by the acting as the head of the region Vladimir Uyba.

Instead of Berezina Victoria Filin who was also appointed the Deputy Prime Minister of Komi became the Minister of Health of Komi.

Release Berezina came from a position of the Minister of Health of Komi after the republic came to the third place in Russia on number of the new patients with a koronavirusny infection of COVID-19 per day, in the region detected 58 new cases. In total in Komi for April 10, 2020 revealed 208 infected with a coronavirus, according to federal operational staff. Three persons with the confirmed coronavirus died, one recovered.

The decision on resignation of the Minister of Health of Komi was expected for all inhabitants of the republic, the deputy of the State Council of Komi Galina Nagayeva (LDPR) reported Regnum.

This solution was expected for all republic, first, because of a situation with spread of a coronavirus. Secondly, because of optimization which left residents of the remote villages without medical care and the virus, judging by the last information, made the way already and to the remote place — the deputy told.

The quarantine in Ezhvinsky city hospital, Knyazhpogostsky central district hospital and in republican clinical hospital was entered into Komi. The Investigative Committee carries out an inspection according to publications in local media that the doctor whose children or he in February visited abroad could become a source of infection.

On April 2, 2020 the head of the region Sergey Gaplikov resigned. Instead of him Vladimir Uyba who held a post of the Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation is appointed to this position, and before headed Federal Medical Biological Agency.^[2]
