2018: Appointment of Lamoda as the CEO
Since March 1, 2018 Florean Jansen will become the CEO of Lamoda, a part of managing powers will also be received by Burckhard Binder. As it became known on February 1, 2018, two of four cofounders of online retailer Lamoda — the CEO of Lamoda Niels Tonzen and the managing director Dominique Piker responsible for development of the IT direction — in a month will leave the leading posts in the company to focus on new business challenges.
As noted, Florean Jansen, meanwhile, will continue to be engaged in strategic and operational development of the company, at the same time will closely cooperate with the management of Global Fashion Group which part Lamoda is.[1]
2019: Board member of Magnit network
Jansen is included into Board of Directors of Magnet as the independent non-executive director since June, 2019 and heads Committee on strategy since July, 2019. Together with management and directors it took part in development of the most significant strategic decisions of development of Magnet. It was noted that Jansen had a great influence on development of strategy and start of digital transformation of Magnet.
2020: Chief executive of Magnet
In May, 2020 the Russian retailer "Magnit" announced attraction of a new command for acceleration of digital transformation of business. In its head there is one of founders of Lamoda Florean Jansen who will hold a position of the chief executive of Magnit and also will become one of three deputy CEOs of the organization — Yana Dyunninga.
Together with it the team of the former top managers of Lamoda company comes to Magnet: director of transformation Paul Rogovski, director of analytics and data management Fabian Schäfer, CIO Valentin Shchitov and also director of the innovative development and partnership Pavel Orlov. Statements for their leaving from the last employer were heard in the first of May, 2020 — without indication of the specific reasons.
It is supposed that this collective will head process of digital transformation of Magnet. The company is sure that this transformation is a key factor of successful implementation of its strategy.
Digital transformation in the organization started at the beginning of 2020. She will mention more than 20 thousand outlets of Magnet and about 300 thousand his employees through the whole country. The main part of information systems will be unrolled in the Russian DPC of SAP based on SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud.
Priority problems of a new team of the retailer will be is among improvement of operating activities of the company due to implementation of modern technologies, by development of IT infrastructure, use of advanced analytics and business process optimization.
Among other problems of a new command are stated start of the omnichannel platform "in response to the changing needs of buyers" and also ensuring effective use of resources of Magnet due to consolidation of project management of transformation of the company.
The sphere of responsibility of Florean Jansen as chief executive included office of digital transformation, project office, IT and new technologies, advanced analytics and Big Data, marketing, including digital products, loyalty and CRM and also omnichannel services.
