Golosov Alexey Olegovich

Alexey Golosov is a creator and the permanent company executive FORS group for the last 17 years. Today FORS – one of the leading Russian developers of big information systems based on technologies of Oracle. The company renders implementation services of automation systems, integration of application solutions, managerial and to IT consulting, training, technical support and maintenance.

Biography, career

Alexey Golosov was born on December 9, 1955 in Moscow in family of scientists. In 1978 graduated from Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics, faculty of applied mathematics. In 1983 completed postgraduate studies at the All-Russian Research Institute of System Researches of Academy of Sciences and defended the master's thesis on circuits design of relational databases.

Alexey Golosov worked in the All-Russian Research Institute of System Researches of Academy of Sciences where there passed the way from the trainee-researcher to the senior research associate. Worked on the project on creation of ecological expert system in Arkansas State University (USA). Published more than 30 articles in scientific publications.

In 1991 together with the former colleagues from Institute of System Researches created FORS company which permanent president is to this day.

Since 1999 - the president of FORS group company. From 1996 to 2005 - the director of the European user group of Oracle (EOUG).

Since 2006 is a part of the advisory board of partners of Oracle (Partner Advisory Board) of the region of EMEA (Europe, Middle East - Africa) including representatives of the largest partners of corporation.

In 2008 to Alexey Golosov the award "The Manager of Year — 2008" in information technology field founded by the business weekly Company was awarded.

Alexey Golosov knows French also English languages.

Occasionally with horror I realize that there is a huge number of affairs which I do not manage to master any more. I always do everything with delay – probably, this property of my nature. For example, on mountain skiing rose when was already for forty, began to play tennis already with the operated knees injured by hands and legs and played before consciousness loss, did not bring to hospital, under a dropper yet. Here now golf arose in my life … There are a lot more different cases which are interesting to me. But I am not in time! It is advisable to study languages: I speak French and English, but always wanted to learn Italian. Very much I like to travel, I love the nature, mountains and, of course, mountain skiing. In soccer still I play - badly, but with huge enthusiasm. Unfortunately, for everything there is not enough time.

Other activities, hobby

Is fond of poetry, music, mountain skiing, soccer, the author's song. In the past - the Master of Sports in figure skating.

Plays the 6-and 7-string guitar. Songs are written since 1971, by the first — "A song about eyes". Favourite authors of songs: Trunks, Egorov, Okudzhava.

He is married, has two adult children.
