Gordeev Alexey Vasilyevich is the governor of the Voronezh region (it is chosen for a period of March 12, 2009 till March 12, 2014). Former Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Member of Bureau of Supreme council of the party United Russia.

Biography

Was born on February 28, 1955 in the city of Frankfurt an der Oder, German Democratic Republic.

Education

1978 - graduated from the Moscow institute of engineers of railway transport majoring in "Construction of the railroads, a way and traveling facilities", qualification - "The engineer of ways of the message builder".

1992 - graduated from the Academy of National Economy (ANE) at Council of Ministers of the USSR as "A leading specialist of management".

Doctor of Economics.

1978 - 1980 - passed military service.

Career

1981 - 1986 - the chief specialist, the head of department, then the deputy chief of Glavsnab Minplodoovoshchkhoz of RSFSR.

1986 - it is appointed the deputy head of department of production and distribution of a container of State Agricultural Committee of RSFSR.

1986 - it is appointed the deputy CEO of Agro-industrial plant "Moscow".

1992 - 1997 - the deputy head of administration of Lyuberetsky District of the Moscow region.

1997 - the head of the department of economy, the member of board of Ministry of Agriculture and Food Production of Russia.

Since May, 1998 - the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Russian Federation.

1999 - the vice-chairman of the Agrarian Party of Russia of Mikhail Ivanovich Lapshin.

August 19, 1999 - The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Russian Federation in Vladimir Putin's government.

On January 1 - on May 7, 2000 - the deputy. Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Russian Federation.

On May 19, 2000 - it is appointed the Deputy Prime Minister - the Minister of Agriculture.

February, 2002 - after removal from a post of the Deputy Prime Minister Ilya Klebanov and redistribution of duties between cabinet ministers, it was entrusted to Gordeev to supervise Federal service of geodesy and cartography, the State Committee on fishery, Federal services of a land cadastre and service on hydrometeorology and monitoring of the environment.

On May 25, 2002 - at a constituent congress of the all-Russian public organization "The Russian Agrarian Movement — RAD" in Rostov-on-Don it was elected him the chairman.

On June 2, 2002 - according to the decision of the prime minister Kasyanov on distribution of duties in the government was responsible for agro-industrial complex.

On December 4, 2002 - held commission session on regulation of the alcoholic market and sent to the deputy manager of Presidential Administration Dmitry Kozak the offer on creation of the federal body controlling turnover of alcoholic products.

Also suggested to enter quoting of supply of fowl and said that is going to reform the fish industry. According to him, "other view of work of the industry is required absolutely".

Opposed fish auctions. Gordeev considered that the state should not only be engaged in replenishment of the budget through auctions, but also take part in problem solving of the fish industry.

On March 29, 2003 - at the II congress United Russia it is included in the structure of Supreme council of the party (without entering a party United Russia and without leaving the Agrarian Party of Russia).

On May 31, 2003 - on a plenum of the Central Office (CO) of the Agrarian Party of Russia it was brought out of board and TsS Agrarian Party of Russia with a formulation "for withdrawal from work in governing bodies of the Agrarian Party of Russia".

Since August, 2003 - the chairman of the government Commission on development of regulatory legal acts in the field of reforming and regulation of the land relations.

January, 2004 - became the president of Federation of judo of the Russian Federation.

On March 9, 2004 - it is appointed the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries in Mikhail Fradkov's government.

Since July, 2005 - the chairman of the Russian part of the mixed Russian-Greek commission on economic, industrial and to sci-tech cooperation.

Since September, 2005 - the member of the Government commission on improvement of interaction of federal executive authorities and executive authorities of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation.

Since October, 2005 - the member of council under the President of the Russian Federation on implementation of priority national projects.

On November 26, 2005 - at the VI congress United Russia it was elected as a member by bureau of Supreme council of the party.

Since November, 2005 - the member of the Government commission on the investment projects having nation-wide value.

Since January, 2006 - the head of the Interdepartmental working group on the priority national project "Development of Agro-industrial Complex".

Since March, 2006 - the deputy manager of operational staff on coordination of actions for distribution warning in the territory of the Russian Federation an avian flu.

October, 2007 - was headed by the regional candidate list in deputies from a batch United Russia in the Ryazan region at State Duma elections of the Russian Federation of the fifth convocation, but after the victory of a batch refused the deputy mandate.

On February 16, 2009 - will put forward the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev on a post of the governor of the Voronezh region.

On March 12, 2009 - officially entered the governor's position. Worked on this post till December, 2017, having been given assignment by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District.

In May, 2018 became the Deputy Prime Minister of the government for agriculture.

Political views

On October 12, 2004 - called the World Trade Organization (WTO) the most dangerous organization for development of world economy: "In my opinion, it is the organization hypocritical and in many respects false, it is the organization even not of two, but several standards".

On April 13, 2005 - acting in the State Duma, suggested to prohibit the oil companies to raise independently prices of oil products "higher than the rates of inflation". According to him, for years of reforms in the field of HSC by 4.3 times the prices of the industrial output consumed by agriculture that led to increase in the price of agricultural products increased.

April, 2006 - flayed the World Trade Organization (WTO). According to him if Russia upholds the positions, the USA will never sign with it the protocol on accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) "and it is visible now on the example of Ukraine which completely handed over all the positions".

On April 7, 2006 - asked the president Vladimir Putin to promote protection of interests of domestic manufacturers of fowl. According to him, in connection with epidemic of bird flu since April, 2006 the American producers twice reduced the price of chicken meat. As, according to Gordeev, the American products in the Russian market of a bird made up to 40%, the dumping prices seriously threatened the Russian poultry breeders.
