2018-2021

At the end of 2021, the board of directors of Izhora Plants PJSC prematurely terminated the powers of General Director Yuri Gordienkov. He headed the enterprise since June 2018 and left by agreement of the parties.

2023: Appointment as CEO of the Baltic Plant

On May 3, 2023, Yuri Gordienkov was appointed General Director of Baltic Plant JSC (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation/USC). The labor contract concluded with him is designed for five years. Gordienkov's candidacy was agreed by the USC Board of Directors.

In April 2023, a change of leadership took place at the Baltic Plant. The company as interim general director was headed by the first deputy general director of JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation Andrei Buzinov. He replaced Alexei Kadilov, who headed the enterprise for almost 10 years.[1]

2024: Appointment as General Director of the Central Engineering Design Bureau

In August 2024, Yuri Gordienkov was appointed General Director of the Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering (CCBM), which is part of Rosatom. In this post, he was replaced by Igor Burtsev, who led the company since the end of June 2019.

Before heading the CCBM, Yuri Gordienkov was the general director of the Baltic Plant (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, USC). According to RBC, Gordienkov left the Baltic Plant after the failed integration of the enterprise into the perimeter of Rosatom.

But in the summer of 2023, before the completion of corporate procedures for the transfer of shares in the plant, the Russian government transferred the entire USC to the trust management of VTB Bank for financial recovery. After that, President - Chairman of the Board of VTB Andrei Kostin headed the Board of Directors of USC, the post of General Director of the Corporation was taken by the former Deputy Chairman of the Board of VTB Andrei Puchkov.

The interlocutor of the publication at one of the USC enterprises says that Gordienkov left the Baltic plant "of his own free will."

Another source of the publication said that Gordienkov "with a high degree" of probability will receive a position in the St. Petersburg Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering.

The CCBM, which was headed by Gordienkov in August 2024, produces pumping and remote-controlled equipment for nuclear power facilities. The bureau specializes in the development and production of main circulation pumps (RCP), sealed pumps, centrifugal electric pumps for nuclear power plants and remotely controlled equipment for the nuclear industry.[2]
