Biography
Gordon Brooks received the bachelor's degree in University of New Hampshire. After that was trained according to programs of further education in Seton Hall University and Northwestern University.
In 1988 - 1991 worked in Oracle as the area director.
In 1991 - 1998 held a position of the senior vice president and director of strategy in the Cambridge Technology Partners company specializing in consulting services in the field of IT.
In 1998 - 2001 was the president and the CEO in Breakaway Solutions. After that, from 2001 to 2015, Brooks held similar positions in companies E5 Systems, Symphony Services, Quercegen Technologies, Return On Intelligence.
From September, 2015 to September, 2016 was the chairman of the board of directors and the CEO in the Katalyst company which is based in the State of Massachusetts in the USA. She is engaged in the fact that she purchases other companies, mainly, working in the field of health care and insurance that then to construct on their base business on provision of services using advanced technologies, such as Internet of Things.
2016: CEO в Softline
In November, 2016 Softline announced Gordon Brooks's appointment to a position of the global CEO. Positions he will be held in this mainly by development of the international business of Softline, process optimization and structures of the company for its rapid growth.
Brooks will submit to Board of Directors of the company. The CEO of Softline Ruslan Belousov with the advent of the new top manager will be focused on operating activities and business development in Russia.
The founder and the chairman of the board of directors of Softline Igor Borovikov notes that the world around quickly develops and not to lag behind, it is necessary to integrate the best world talents into a command and at the same time as much as possible to use the knowledge of the most dynamic of emerging markets. He added that Softline confirmed compliance of the quality management system to ISO 9001 recently and is ready to work with the most exacting international clients.
Softline notes that appointment happened after the investment attraction from Da Vinci Capital fund. The received funds will be allocated for expansion of Softline on the new markets - both in product, and in the geographical relation.
