2022: Became the champion and best player of the CS: GO tournament with a prize fund of $1 million

On December 18, 2022, the Counter Strike: Global Offensive tournament ended in Abu Dhabi, in which the German basketball team G2 Esports won. At the same time, the most valuable player (MVP) of the competition was 17-year-old Russian Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, who plays for G2 Esports. In the decisive series, the player made 39 murders with 28 deaths. For Ilya, this is the first such award.

G2 Esports beat Team Liquid 2-0 in the final. The match was played on Inferno and Mirage cards, G2 winning them 16-7 and 16-12 respectively. The winners received a prize of $500 thousand. Team Liquid, which was in second place, took home $250,000. The prize fund of the competition amounted to $1 million.
